Hi, I’m Jacqui – the human behind Hill Road Cattery!

I opened Hill Road Cattery because I couldn’t find somewhere I felt 100% comfortable leaving my own cats - and with over 24 years in the pet industry, I knew I could create something really special.

Hill Road Cattery is based on my rural property on Paekākāriki Hill Road with cozy indoor spots and secure outdoor playgrounds where cats can relax, watch the birds (goats and pigs!), and feel at home.

Since opening in 2024, we’ve built a reputation for happy cats and very relieved owners — with loads of 5-star Google reviews from people who were nervous about leaving their cats, and came back to settled, content ones.

I know how hard it can be to leave your cat, so I keep you updated while you’re away and make sure they’re genuinely cared for — not just checked on.
